Howdee all,
Its getting colder here in North Carolina..past few mornings there has been frost on the ground. The news threatens snow on Saturday night…but we don’t believe them..or don’t want to. Its now 54 at ten thirty in the morning…might reach 60…yippee..maybe that will get us outside for a walk. Yesterday I wanted to go for a walk and Jeff said it was too cold…I didn’t object. >Sissies we are<or maybe we are just lazy in our winter hibernation doldrums.
Any hoo…I did get out and take a few pictures.
Holly Berries are attracting the birds…
Camilla Flowers all winter
Late blooming roses
Pansies seem to like the cold weather…
Another pretty Camilla flower
Ok..see those nuts below…Sicksta and I worked hard picking up at least 10 bucket loads a few days ago…and piled them here..
Well, more fell during the windy night recently and I we will be filling more buckets and moving them…..so we don’t fall and break our Osteoporosis bones…This batch of nuts below…
Jeff is cleaning them and we will take them back to CT for Christmas …My mother wants them for her squirrels…hee hee..WE could take back a ton..but then there will be no room for Christmas presents…hummm..that’s an idea.Eastern Phoebe…me thinks.. hangs out in our yard here.
